Our small campsite is simple, scenic and a little bit rough around the edges, in the best possible way. Facilities are basic but characterful, with toilets, hot showers, washing-up space and easy access to the shore, all set around the old pier and boat house at Lunga.
Come for the sea views, the sunsets, the space, the wildlife and the feeling of being properly away from it all. This is not a polished holiday park, it is a rustic coastal campsite in a very special place.

Corryreckan View Pitches
Our Corryvreckan View pitches have spectacular west-facing views towards Jura, Scarba and the famous Corryvreckan whirlpool.
Around 100m from the main facilities, these pitches have no electric hook-up. Options include grass tent pitches, gravel spaces for small campervans, roof tents and small caravans, plus one larger motorhome pitch.
Prices: £27 per night for tents or £30 for live-in vehicles. Includes 2 people. Extra adults are £12.50, children under 16 are £3. These quoted costs do not include a small booking fee from our tranasction processing team.
Fillan’s Field Pitches
Fillan’s Field is a simple grassy camping area set just back from the shore, around 75m from the main facilities.
There is no electric hook-up. Suitable for tents, small campervans, roof tents and similar vehicles, but not motorhomes.
Prices: £24 per night for tents including 2 people. Extra adults are £12.50, children under 16 are £3. These quoted costs do not include a small booking fee from our tranasction processing team.
Pier Brae Pitches
Pier Brae is a sheltered area above the pier, around 40m from the main facilities, with lovely views towards Shuna, Luing and the surrounding islands.
There are tent pitches, standard live-in vehicle pitches, and premium island-view vehicle pitches. Electric hook-up is available on selected standard pitches, while the best-view pitches do not have hook-up.
Prices: Tents £25-£27, standard vehicles £27 or island-view vehicles £32. Electric hook-up is an extra £5. Includes 2 people. Extra adults are £12.50, children under 16 are £3. T These quoted costs do not include a small booking fee from our tranasction processing team.
Bay View Boatyard
Motorhome Pitches
Our Bay View Boatyard pitches sit right by Lunga Bay and are best suited to live-in vehicles, including motorhomes, larger caravans, campervans and roof tents. This part of the site has lovely views across the bay, but it has a more practical, working-shore feel, with old boats, pontoons and boatyard character nearby.
These are the best pitches for larger vehicles and those needing a bit more space or electric hook-up. They are not the prettiest or softest part of the campsite, but they are useful, spacious and well placed for the bay and facilities.
Please note - we have no cassette emptying facilities on site!
Prices: £30 per night for a live-in vehicle pitch, with electric hook-up available for an extra £5 per night. All pitches include 2 people, it’s an additional £12.50 per extra adult or £3 per extra child under 16. These quoted costs do not include a small booking fee from our tranasction processing team.
Facilities
Facilities at Lunga are simple, rustic and full of character. Campers have access to toilets, hot showers, fridge, freezer. kettle, washing-up space and a covered pier-side area for sitting, sheltering and gathering. Nothing here is polished or overdeveloped, but that is part of the charm: stone walls, old boat-house buildings, sea air, open views and a real working-shore feel.
The pier and surrounding spaces are also available for private hire, small events, workshops, food nights and relaxed coastal gatherings. If you are looking for somewhere a bit different, with sea views and a memorable west coast atmosphere, get in touch and tell us what you have in mind.
